Jack Collins, RPh.  - Northeast

Jack Collins graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy in 1975. After graduation he joined his father at Collins Pharmacy, which was established by his grandfather in 1931, in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, CT. Jack became the third generation of his family to practice in this location. He helped grow Collins Pharmacy quickly by expanding into home medical equipment and specialty compounding. In 1992, Jack started Collins I.V. Care, a home infusion therapy company.

After several mergers and acquisitions in the home healthcare arena, Jack's new company, the AMHealth Group, became the largest privately held provider of pharmacy, home infusion therapy and HME products and services in Connecticut. In 2001, he sold the company to American Homecare Supply, keeping Collins Pharmacy and Collins Medical Equipment operating at its original Bridgeport location. For the next eight years, Jack held various positions in management and mergers and acquisitions for Air Products Healthcare and Critical Homecare Solutions.

Jack is thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects of pharmacy including retail, specialty compounding, home medical equipment and home infusion therapy, having owned and operated businesses in each of these practice arenas. He is a past President of the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) and brings a unique perspective to the Buy-Sell team, having bought and sold multiple entities as well as representing buyers and sellers as an independent consultant subsequent to leaving his last corporate position.
